The Full Story

A Consistent Product. Every Time.

Our food-grade corn starts with desirable hybrids, raised by dedicated farmers (including our own family), strictly tested for safety and certification important to our customers — and their customers.

Consistency is key. Snack, cereal, and other food makers rely on a clean, uniform raw ingredient every time, with no to minimal variation from shipment-to-shipment in size, content, and conformation. Since 1938, the Fischer family has been producing superior corn that satisfies buyers’ market demands.

Every time.

Quality is expected. Consistency is what keeps your line running.

The last problem you need is from your raw corn ingredient — here's how we ensure to provide you a consistent product every time.

STEP 1: Grow It

Central Indiana farmers adhere to raising specific hybrids, then harvest and dry the corn according to

A Legacy of Delivering

Anyone can talk about quality (which we also care about).
We’re obsessed with consistency — because your process depends on it.

World Corn King - A legacy to live up to. The business started on a farm with a focus on "value-added" crops, specifically raising high-quality seed corn. Charles Fischer gained significant fame for the quality of his seed by winning the "best 10 ear sample" competition at the World’s Fair in Chicago six times between 1938 and 1965. 1970s: Mark and Jim Fischer joined the business, continuing the focus on value-added seed corn and soybean production that their dad had valued. Early 1980s: The company began cleaning food-grade corn, starting with yellow corn for the tortilla chip market. Mid-1980s: At a customer's request, the company expanded into raising white corn. Although white corn represents less than 1% of the corn grown in the U.S. it became a key component of the company's market and subsequent expansion into products like hominy. Today: Brad, Brittany, and Bryan have taken on the business to continue to push the envelope in innovation while maintaining the same standard of products that their grandpa set decades earlier.
